The Sixth Space Lord is known as head of the Bureau of Training or BuTrain. This person, for the level of work they do, is awarded the rank of Admiral . The Office of the Sixth Space Lord is responsible for running BuTrain. The Academies available within BuTrain include the Saganami Island Naval Academy (RMN) which also includes the Royal Marine Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy and the Astro Control Academy, the Isaiah Mackenzie Naval Academy (GSN),  King Roger 1 Military Academy (RMA), the Prinz Adalbert Marinieakadamie (IAN), Landing University System and the Sphinx Forestry Service Youth Academy. Additionally, the Sixth Space Lord is responsible for making certain that graduation information is shared with both the Office of the Fourth Space Lord and Office of the Fifth Space Lord and the various Promotions Boards as they convene.
